The Child Nutrition Program provides professional training to school food service staff, aimed at meeting, or exceeding, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) guidelines.
Our training is centered on established standards of excellence, and seeks continuous growth and positive improvement in: nutritional standards, food safety, customer service, open communication and collaboration, and effective partnerships.
Skilled staff members provide healthier school meals that reduce hunger and obesity, increase student participation, improve cost control, and strengthen overall student success.
