Program Fees:

Application Fee - A $100 nonrefundable application fee is required to establish eligibility for program

Program Fee - $3,200

  • Registration Fee—$500 by June 8, 2018
  • Internship payment—$2,700 by payroll deduction Oct 2018—June 2019

TExMat Examination Fee—$131 to ETS

SBEC Certification Application Fee—$78 to add certification to Texas teaching certificate

Application Process:

Step 1:  Due by Sept 10, 2017

  • Complete the Region 13 Online Application ($100)
  • Submit Service Record showing a minimum of three (3) years teaching experience
  • Submit official transcripts showing highest degree earned. (Sealed and unopened from the university)
  • Submit documentation of GRE scores (if taken)
  • Submit a copy of your current Texas Teaching Certificate
  • Three (3) Professional Recommendation forms (should be completed electronically and emailed to Chrissie Harsh)

Please remember, your application will not be processed until we have received all the above listed items and your fee has been paid.

Step 2:

  • All applicants notified about admission status by email.
  • Pay the registration fee of $500 by June 8, 2018. Instructions for making this payment will be included on your acceptance letter
  • Attend Program Orientation on Monday, June 11, 2018, 9:00 am at ESC, Region 13, 5701 Springdale Rd, Austin, Texas 78723

Step 3:

  • Begin training Tuesday, June 11, 2018 at ESC, Region 13
