PCN Applicatioin Cycle for 2017-2018 is Closed.
(Application Cycle for 2018-2019 will open February 5, 2018.)
Step 1: (Due by April 20, 2018)
Complete the Region 13 Online Application (pay $100 fee)
Submit Service Record showing a minimum of two (2) years teaching experience
Submit official Master's Degree transcript sealed and unopened from the university. (Sorry, faxed and/or copied transcripts are not accepted)
Submit documentation of GRE scores (if taken)
Submit a copy of your current Texas Teaching Certificate
Three (3) Professional Recommendations forms (including one from current supervisor). (Forms should be completed electronically and emailed to Janet Palms)

Please remember, your application will not be processed until we have received all of the above listed items and your fee has been paid.
Step 2: (Week of April 23-27, 2018)
Interviews scheduled with Region 13 for Qualified Applicants
Step 3: (May 4, 2018)
All applicants notified about admission status by email

Social Security Number or Resident Alien Number (this will serve as your application reference number)
Your Valid Texas Teaching Certificate
Education history including institutions attended, dates, and grade point average
Employment history (beginning with most recent), including supervisor's name and current contact information, and dates of employment
Visa, Master Card, or check routing information for $100 application fee

Once you have submitted your application, you can check on the status of your application and documents received in the Registrar's office by returning to the main menu and clicking on the View App Status link.
PCN is approved by the Texas Education Agency and is subject to any changes mandated by the State Board of Educator Certification as well as other necessary program adjustments.
