School Counselor Certification

The School Counselor Certification (SCC) program at Region 13 provides a high quality certification program designed to prepare successful teachers to become school counselors through an alternative route.

SCC is approved by the Texas Education Agency and is subject to any changes mandated by the State Board of Educator Certification as well as other necessary program adjustments.

 

 

To Be Eligible:
Applicants must have:

  • A Master’s degree from an accredited university with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
  • Completed 3 years of qualified teaching experience.
  • Hold a Valid Texas Teachers Certificate
