In an effort to address the on-going shortage of master’s level speech-language pathologists in the schools, a partnership was formed among the Education Service Centers of Texas, Texas Woman’s University, the Texas Education Agency and local educational entities to provide a master’s degree program for both in-field and out-of-field students.
This program, fully accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, utilizes a combination of videoconferencing and web based instruction as well as clinical experiences on school campuses, in hospitals, nursing homes, clinics, rehabilitation centers and special summer camps.
The information sessions for Cycle 10 of the TWU-TETN Masters Degree Program are scheduled for May 10, May 30, June 18, and July 16, 2018. Attendance in one of the information sessions is MANDATORY for applicants to the program. People who attend one of the information sessions are eligible to apply to the TWU-TETN Masters Degree Program for Cycle 10. People who do not attend an information session are not eligible to apply.
